Dermal Fillers

Fillers are popular treatments used for enhancing lips, softening wrinkles, laughter lines, facial lines and wrinkles caused naturally by ageing or sun exposure. Dermal fillers are injected into the skin combined with a local anaesthetic to give your face a natural volume, leaving your skin completely hydrated and youthful.

There are two important substances which keep your skin looking smooth and supple, these are known as collagen and hyaluronic acid. Collagen provides your skin with structural support, whilst hyaluronic acid hydrates the skin and gives it volume. As we age certain factors such as the amount of sunlight we are exposed to, diminishes the collagen and hyaluronic acid in the skin therefore it loses structure and volume and allows lines and wrinkles to appear.

Hyaluronic based dermal fillers are injected into the skin in order to lift up the wrinkles and plump up the skin. They can also be used to add volume to the lips. Fillers give an instantaneous volume to the skin and give it a more youthful and younger appearance.

Treatment can last up to 9 months depending on your skin type.

Wrinkle Relaxants

BOTOX is a prescription medicine that is injected into muscles and used to treat frown/forehead lines and crows feet around the eyes. Used to relax muscles in these areas where premature ageing can show to reveal a more youthful version of yourself. Our nurse is also qualified to treat excessive sweating on the underarms or palms of hands too. The procedure will last up to 6 months.

BOTOX is the quickest and most instant treatment for mechanical ageing where the face is over expressive, leading to wrinkles. Often this is dependent on genetics and the onset of expression lines can start early.
