Brand new at Rejuvenate! The fire cupping treatment is an ancient Chinese therapy using glass cups which can be placed almost anywhere on the body to ease muscular pain/tension, to detox the lymphatic system, relieve joint inflammation and pain, help with digestive issues, IBS, poor circulation and many more issues. Muscular tissue is stretched outwards in the opposite direction to massage creating suction to release stagnation so that the life energy qi force can flow without restriction. Fire is used to create the vacuum in the cups but when they are placed on the skin they actually don’t feel warm. Colouration will take place on the skin that can last up to one week during strong cupping, however in light and medium cupping the colouration is temporary and in most cases lasts just during the treatment or up to 24 hours. A massage is carried out before the cupping to prepare the body and a lymphatic massage is carried out post cupping.

Refloxology £45
Reflexology is a deeply relaxing treatment using pressure point technique on the soles of the feet. Reflexology benefits the whole body as the meridians of our body are connected to the soles of the feet. It is a deeply relaxing and energising foot treatment.
Reflexologists believe that the feet or hands ‘mirror’ the body and its internal organs each of which have its own special reflex. When the body has been subjected to illness, stress or injury, its systems and energy flow becomes out of balance. Reflexology helps relaxation, improves mood, aids sleep, helps to relieve tension and improves sense of wellbeing.

Indian Head Massage £45
The aim of Indian head massage is to release the stress that has accumulated in the tissues, muscles and joints of the head, face, neck and shoulders. The client, fully clothed, sits in a massage chair for the treatment. The therapist uses a range of different movements including application of deep kneading and compression movements over the neck, shoulder and scalp areas. In addition, the therapist will also gently stimulate and stroke pressure points on the face. The session will usually last forty minutes, and it is desirable to sit quietly for ten minutes once the massage has been completed.
Indian head massage is especially good for relieving stress, tension, fatigue, insomnia, headaches, migraine and sinusitis. Clients report that the experience is deeply calming and relaxing, leaving them feeling energised and revitalised and better able to concentrate.
Sciatica Massage £35
Sciatica can be very painful with sufferers experiencing a shooting pain originating in the lower back/buttock area down to the lower leg/foot. Rejuvenate therapists have been trained to apply specific massage techniques to alleviate the muscle tensions giving rise to these painful symptoms. Firm pressure is applied to specific muscles. When this is done pain will be experienced during the sciatica massage, however the benefits will be an immediate relief and improved mobility. 4 weekly sessions are recommended to bring painful symptoms under control.
