IPL hair removal

Fed up with shaving, waxing and stubble. Well smooth skin really can be yours with permanent hair reduction. More men and women now than ever before are using this method to end the annoyance of unsightly hair. This is because laser treatments are more affordable now and increasing numbers of people can see the long term benefits it gives them. The single most important reason has to be the freedom it can give you from the time and energy spent on traditional methods of removing hair. Quite often these methods are not satisfactory, many people complain of stubble from shaving, bumpy skin and in-growing hairs from waxing.

I have had laser treatment on my face and it has really worked. I only have to come once a year. I completely recommend it. Thanks Tara

Very pleased with the laser treatment, it has worked and I am very happy with the service I received

Great professional service displayed in my every visit, good value for money. Would recommend the salon to everyone

The Body

Lower legs-the results here are the best, often even after just 4 treatments clients are pleased with progress. However I have noted that knees are slower to respond than the rest of the leg so you may need extra touch ups here.
Bikini-the outer hair on the leg diminishes within a few sessions, the more intimate sections can be stubborn and in my experience need & maintenance sessions

The Face

Face-the most popular area, here results can vary. The chin can be stubborn and require more than one course. The middle of the lip area brings excellent results, however the corners of the lip can be more stubborn.
Sides of the face, neck between eyebrows, earlobes – excellent results (hair on earlobes has been dramatically reduced within just 3 treatments)
Diet health play a major role in how your body functions.Drinking 1 cup of spearmint tea has been shown to slow hair growth after 2 weeks! Cutting down on meat consumption and maintaining healthy eating habits will help you a lot where hormonal factors are contrinbuting to abnormal hair growth!

Recommend laser to all. Happy with results. Great service Sonia

How does IPL work?

IPL emits & dual band of yellow and red light which is particularly effective for hair removal. The red light targets the melanin within the hair shaft causing the follicle temperature to rise and the consequent destruction of the follicle whilst the yellow light destroys the germ cells preventing any possibility of re-growth. Successful treatment can reduce hair growth by up to 90%.

What does the treatment involve?

Brautjungfernkleider Kurz You wear protective eyewear while the IPL operator moves the hand piece slowly over your skin firing the IPL light exactly where required. Cooling is applied to the skin to minimise heat sensation. IPL can be used to treat any area of the body and on most skin types. Prior to treatment we will discuss in detail how treatment works and assess if it is suitable for you. A test patch is carried out on all clients to observe the effect. Afterwards treated hair will naturally fall out of the follicle 2 weeks after treatment.

Are there any side effects?

With the majority of treatments there are little or no visible after-effects so you can resume your normal routine quickly. Some parts of the body are more sensitive than others and may redden. An aftercare gel is applied in all cases and any redness should settle within hours. As with any heat treatment there are risks but they will be fully discussed before treatment.

How many treatments are required?

In order to achieve the best results we recommend a course of six treatments.

How effective is treatment?

The number of treatments required varies, depending on the density and location of hair growth. Most people require at least 6-8 treatments. However facial hair, especially around the chin can take longer. Treatment is required every 4-6 weeks for the first few sessions.
Having extensive experience of carrying out treatments over the last 7 years, I have developed considerable knowledge regarding the success rate of different areas. At Rejuvenate we have developed a reputation for honesty so below is an account of the varying results of treatment.

HAnything else I should be aware of?

Treatment cannot be carried out if you are under 18, planning to start a family or are pregnant or if you suffer from certain conditions such as epilepsy or have had skin cancer. Avoid exposure to the sun and sun beds for at least 4 weeks before and after treatment. A test patch is required before treatment, there is no separate charge for the test patch, just a 20 deposit.

Laser Lipo

Experience fat reduction and a slimmer, tighter shape – all with no pain, no needles and no down time.

i-lipo won Best Slimming Treatment of the Year Award,

i-lipo has also gained FDA approval for achieving inch loss in the USA

How i-LIPO works?

Low level lasers have been utilized as effective treatments in fat reduction for several years.
The i-Lipo low level lasers are released through the treatment pads, triggering a chemical signal in the fat cells that breaks down stored triglycerides into free fatty acids and glycerol, which are released through the cell membranes. Fat content is then transported around the body to tissues where it will be burned off during a period of post-treatment exercise.

How many treatments will I need?

Treatments are structured into courses of eight.
Your number of treatments, however, is determined at your consultation and is based on your requirements and goals.  We suggest two treatments a week over four weeks to complete a course of treatments.

How long is each treatment?

i-Lipo laser treatment takes just 10 minutes. The length of time for your post-treatment exercise to burn off the free fatty acids is determined at your consultation and is based on your requirements and goals.

Is it comfortable?

Most people feel very little during the treatment and find it comfortable and relaxing. The typical sensation felt is a slight warmth where the treatment pads are in contact with your skin.

Is it suitable for everyone?

i-Lipo can be used on both men and women and can treat all areas of the body except the female breasts.
As with any treatment, people with certain medical conditions should not use i-Lipo. Your i-Lipo practitioner will go through a full medical questionnaire and consultation prior to treatment to confirm suitability..

Is it safe?

Yes,Independent clinical studies have shown i-Lipo to be completely safe with no side effects.

The laser simply triggers a natural reaction of fat cell release. The process does not cause any damage and cells remain intact, just smaller, giving immediate results.

How long will the results last?

Results are long-term, provided your calorie intake and eating plan is stable, and you engage in regular exercise. Further treatments can be performed to correct diet indulgence or target another area of the body

When will I see results?

Often results can be seen immediately and improve with every treatment. Over the course of eight sessions, you can achieve dramatic reshaping of the body and fat reduction.

IPL skin rejuvenation

IPL skin rejuvenation

- Rosacea
- Photo damaged skin(sundamage)
- Thread veins
- Hyperpigmentation(skin types I-III)
- Acne/acne scarring

IPL is an extremely effective treatment for photo rejuvenation, especially for rosacea skin conditions, thread veins, photo-ageing(sundamaged) skin and hyperpigmentation in European/white skin. The IPL light emits energy which causes a reaction in the deeper dermal layer of the skin resulting in the production of new collagen.

which thickens the epidermis and thereby diminishing the redness associated with rosacea and red veins. Sundamaged skin is healed by improving texture, as the old dead skin cells are shed the improved skin texture appears on the surface.

How does IPL work?

The Phaser EPL emits a unique band of SmartliteTM from a hand piece held against your skin. A dual band of yellow and red light is emitted which is particularly effective for skin rejuvenation. The red light targets the pigmented areas of skin, targeting hyperpigmentation whilst the yellow light obstructs the blood flow to red and inflamed skin conditions.

What does the treatment involve?

You wear protective eyewear while the IPL operator moves the hand piece slowly over your skin firing the smartlite exactly where required. Most people experience minimal discomfort feeling no more than a tingling/heating sensation. Cooling is applied after treatment to minimise this sensation. A test patch will initially be required to test your suitability for treatment.

Are there any side effects?

With general photo rejuvenation there are little or no side effects and any skin type can benefit from a treatment.
When treating rosacea the skin may initially become redder before it improves.
When treating hyperpigmentation the pigmented areas are treated at very high levels to ablate the skin, this means the skin will blister afterwards. The blistered area will heal like a regular burn, by firstly turning into a scab then healing within a 2-4 week period. This is the reason why hyperpigmentation treatment is only suitable for white skin.

How many treatments are needed?

Results can be seen from a course of 3-6 treatments depending on the skin condition. Treatments are carried out at varying intervals from weekly to monthly depending on the skin condition.
